About Me

A Photo of Me

My name is Christopher Olsen, I can be contacted at
colsen [AT] stolennontebook.com

I graduated from UW-Madison in May 2005 with a degree in Computer Science. As a student I spent most of my time at the UPL where I met a number of people interested in games. A few of us saw that we had complimentary talent and passion for game development and began working together on game projects. We formed Stolen Notebook, LLC in 2005. Our focus has been on developing well engineered software and tools for game development. I am currently Technical Director at Stolen Notebook.

I have been writing game engines since my freshman year in high school (circa 1996), and programming in C/C++ since 1997. These days I use a lot of python as well. A list of my notable projects can be found on my Past Projects page. Definately check out Craiden.

I am also a full-time software engineer at a small venture capital company in Fitchburg. I get to experience, first-hand, the development of a new company from the ground up as well as professional level software development. These experiences have already been extremely useful and may prove to be even more so in the future of Stolen Notebook.
